Hello!
This is me, Tali Rosevear. I am a graduate student and teaching assistant at Appalachian State University, where I am earning my Masters in Elementary Education!
You can follow my education adventures on Twitter and Instagram, I am @MissTRosevear on both!
Read below to learn a little more about me…
Things to Know About Me

I am an educator. I have loved learning for as long as I can remember so I chose a career that would allow me to help others learn!

I’m Chilean! My dad came to American when he was a bit younger than I am now. I go back every few years to visit all of my family that still lives there.

I’m a Northerner. I was born in Pennsylvania and then lived in Ohio before moving to North Carolina. But Boone is where I consider home.

I’m a sister. I have a big brother, Logan, and a big sister, Ana. I love them both a whole lot, even when they are annoying me. I wish I got to see them more.
Things I Love

My Fiancé! He is my best friend and biggest supporter! Dominic and I met in high school and have been dating for 6 years. We are finally tying the knot this May!

Our dogs! Hoodie is a 5 year old Shih tzu and Hermione is a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix. They both love going on adventures and inspire me to climb mountains but they both also enjoy cuddling on the couch at night while we watch movies!

The Mountains! I absolutely love calling Boone home. The beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains never fails to take my breathe away.

Reading! I love getting lost in a good book. My favorite series is Harry Potter but I am currently reading Becoming by Michelle Obama.
Things I Don’t Love
- Stepping in something wet when wearing socks – usually snow after I take off my boots when I get back inside from taking my dogs for a walk.
- Getting sick – you never truly appreciate being able to breathe through your nose until it is taken away from you.
- Forgetting my favorite pen at home – it just writes so well, ya know? And it’s the only pen I’ll use in my planner so if I don’t have it my whole day is thrown off!
- Wanting a piece of chocolate but there is none at the house – I feel like this one speaks for itself.
How I Look

- I love my hair – it is brown, medium length, and curly. It doesn’t often do what I want it to do but that’s okay.
- I love my height – I’m 5’1. For most of my life I though being short was a negative thing but it has its perks.
- I love my freckles – I get more in the summer time.
- I love my eyes – they are big and brown and sparkle in the sun.
How I Act
- Responsible – balancing work, grad school, two dogs, and a partner is not easy but Google Calendars helps me stay afloat.
- Loyal – I love my family and friends fiercely and will do pretty much anything for them.
- Honest – this can be good and bad but you can always count on me to have an opinion to share.
- Silly – I laugh at my own jokes all the time and dance whenever I hear music but it keeps me positive.
